The pub has been with the same family since 1975 when David and Susan Reed purchased the Bell Inn after running the Bridge at Dulverton as tenants. The Bell was leased out for a short period before David and Susan's middle daughter Lynn and her husband Mark came to run the pub in September 1988. They have successfully built the business and improved the pub.(7 miles)
